The UNC TEACCH Autism Program is recruiting a full-time clinical research coordinator to support a PCORI-funded study on suicide prevention for adolescents and young adults on the autism spectrum. This 5-year, community-partnered study is a multi-site hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial. Ideal start date is early summer 2022.
The Project Coordinator will work with Dr. Brenna Maddox at UNC and other study team members to provide research support. The responsibilities will focus on coordinating IRB and regulatory processes, coordinating communication across multiple recruitment sites, assisting with the integration of study procedures into the clinical workflow at UNC, and supporting research assistants. Additional responsibilities include conducting qualitative interviews about intervention acceptability and feasibility with participants and assisting with the qualitative data analyses. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, experience coordinating clinical trials, and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
