El Futuro is currently hiring a full-timeTeleBehavioral Health Program Lead in the Durham office
to provide clinical services to clients in various locations in rural North Carolina via video-based technology. This position will also play a strong role in the administration of El Futuro’s telebehavioral health services with community partners in conjunction with the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator.

Primary Job Functions:

Clinical:
Directly provide bilingual Spanish/English, culturally-responsive telebehavioral health counseling services including clinical assessments, individual treatment sessions and consultations via video-based technology to clients at various a number of program sites and locations.
Utilize a targeted treatment model of therapy (with training and supervision provided by the agency).
Provide case management for identified teletherapy clients and participate in care coordination activities with local healthcare and outreach providers as needed.
Maintain and submit accurate and timely documentation of clinical and programmatic services.
Manage a robust caseload of telebehavioral health clients, including tracking/scheduling follow-up sessions, psychiatric referrals, discharge, etc with assistance from the TeleFuturo Administrative Assistant.
Fulfill monthly billable hours in accordance with program needs/expectations.
Adhere to and manage a clinical schedule which will include a minimum of two evenings per week.

Program:
Develop strategies and assume responsibility for meeting program deliverables, and participate in data collection and reporting to present program outcomes to funding entities and agency leadership.
Oversee operational and crisis policies and procedures for telebehavioral health interventions.
Meet regularly with and work in conjunction with TeleFuturo Program Team, including Program Director, Clinical Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, and Telebehavioral Health Therapists.
Meet regularly with community partner representatives to ensure efficient and coordinated delivery of telebehavioral health services.
Provide leadership to the program team and contribute generally to the growth and maintenance of the site-based teletherapy program.

General Responsibilities of El Futuro Staff:
Participate actively in All Staff Meetings.
Play an active role in the continued development of El Futuro’s work via participation in development and other agency-wide activities.
Engage in learning opportunities through “La Mesita”, El Futuro’s training platform and network of bilingual providers in North Carolina.

Qualifications:
Required: Fluency in spoken Spanish. Must also be able to read and communicate with clients in written Spanish. In addition, must be able to document clinical encounters in English.
Required: Provider must be eligible to practice as a licensed mental health provider in the state of North Carolina. This includes candidates with an LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or LPA. We will accept associate level providers depending on the type of supervision needed.
Required: Ability to work late evenings and weekend hours as needed to meet program needs.
Knowledge base of effective distance counseling interventions, and a willingness to learn further interventions when appropriate.
Strong clinical skills, including in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, triage, crisis management, and case management.
Capacity for independent decision making within established procedures and protocols.
Commitment to provision of trauma-informed, culturally-responsive services.
Ability to think strategically, consider the potential impact of programmatic decisions, and respond to diverse programmatic needs.
Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, leaders, and funders regarding program goals and outcomes.
Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to self-monitor program deliverables and outcomes.
Flexibility, creativity and a spirit of collaboration.
Experience with short-term treatment modalities.
Prefer experience with short-term/targeted treatment modalities.
Prefer comfort level with video-conferencing technology.
Demonstrated enthusiasm about working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
