Somatic Approaches to Internalized Oppression and Other Trauma

Danielle Murphy, LCSW, SEP will train participants to focus on understanding and treating the effects of trauma, with an emphasis on the experience of members of marginalized groups and the cumulative effects of micro-aggressions and internalized oppression as particular forms of trauma.
Clinical Lecture Series and Institutes trainings are for students, professionals, and community members interested in therapeutic practices that are anti-oppressive, intersectional, and centered on self-determination.
Free of charge for UNC School of Social Work students, faculty, staff, field instructors.
