Introduction to the NC Family Navigation Guide: A new online resource to support your work with families

In this course, Elizabeth Crais, Ph.D. and Rebecca Pretzel, Ph.D. will provide a brief overview of familiesperspectives of current navigation services in NC and previous research and work in this area. Participants will learn about a new online resource, the NC Family Navigation Guide, that was developed in collaboration with a statewide interagency committee of professionals and families.

Focus on Family and Disability Seminar Series trainings are for students, professionals, and community members interested in therapeutic practices that are anti-oppressive, intersectional, and centered on self-determination. 

Free of charge for UNC School of Social Work students, faculty, staff, and field instructors.

Scholarships available upon request.

Family members may attend for free.
