Mellicent O’Brien Blythe, LCSW, is an Implementation Specialist at the North Carolina Child Treatment Program (NC CTP), where she provides training and consultation to agency leaders on implementing and sustaining evidence-based treatments. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work, with a focus on research, policy, and stakeholder engagement to support the sustainment of evidence-based treatments across the state. Prior to joining NC CTP, she provided training, consultation, and publications for North Carolina’s child welfare system. She previously worked in New York and Virginia in a variety of direct practice settings, including juvenile detention, pediatric AIDS and oncology, and early intervention. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from New York University.
