Elizabeth Byrum, an MSW/MPH dual degree student, was featured in an article about her summer work with NC Child in an online post from the nonprofit.
The School of Social Work was featured in the University Gazette article, “Hope Grows Here.” The article focused on the Farm at Penny Lane in Chatham County and the partnership between the School and XDS. Inc., which operates the farm, to build a village of tiny homes that would serve residents with serious mental health conditions. Associate professor Amy Blank Wilson is co-directing the project.
