SIE Lab hosts discussions: Historical trauma experienced by Native Americans and channeling art into activism and advocacy

On April 16, the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab welcomed local respected Elder Vivette Jeffries-Logan of the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation to a luncheon discussion on understanding the cycles of historical trauma experienced by Native Americans, as well as Indigenous Perspectives on healing. Jeffries-Logan is founder and principal of Biwa Consulting, her independent Leadership, Organizational Development, Equity and Training consulting business.

On April 22, the SIE Lab hosted spoken word performer CJ Suitt, and a pop-up gallery of visual art as part of a conversation about channeling art and creativity into activism and advocacy.
