The Jordan Institute for Families was featured in the NC Health News article, “Adult guardianship group to propose changes in law, practice to NCGA.”

Nancy Hagan, senior human trafficking analyst for Project NO REST at the School of Social Work, was recently interviewed for a series of videos on human trafficking. The videos, which appear on UNC-TV and YouTube, were produced by the UNC School of Government’s ncImpact.

Professor Rebecca Macy was interviewed for the University Gazette’s newest feature, Focus Carolina.

Professor Kim Strom-Gottfried, the University’s director of ethics education and policy management, was mentioned in the University Gazette article, “Speaking up, health plan savings topics of March Employee Forum meeting.”

Clinical associate professor Lisa de Saxe Zerden, and Ph.D. graduates Brianna Lombardi and Erica Richman were featured in the Social Work Today article, “Understanding the social work role in integrated care – taking a seat at the table.

Professor Mark Testa was interviewed for the podcast, “Child welfare in the 21st Century: Supporting families who provide permanence.” The podcast was produced by the Quality Improvement Center for Adoption & Guardianship Support and Preservation. Testa serves as chair of the center’s Professional Consortium.

Dean Gary Bowen was quoted in the Daily Tar Heel article, “Meet the deans of UNC’s nationally ranked graduate schools.”

Doctoral student Erum Agha was featured in a Doctoral Student Spotlight for the Society of Social Work Research Doctoral Student Resource Center.
