Julia Da Silva, a dual degree social work and public administration student, was featured in “New columnists will give the N&O more voices,” in the Raleigh News & Observer. Da Silva, who has an interest in social justice, poverty issues, racial equity and sexual and mental health, was recently selected as a featured columnist for the newspaper. Her first column, “I am a rape survivor. How to offer support,” was also published in April.

Clinical associate professor Jodi Flick was featured in, “Social Workers Learn From and Raise Awareness Through Mental Health First Aid,” in the New Social Worker Magazine.
