Final-year MSW students in Gary Cuddeback, Paul Lanier and Cynthia Rizo’s Evaluations of Social Interventions (SOWO 810) courses presented their group evaluation projects during a poster presentation session on April 28 at the School. Faculty, staff and other students gathered to see the students’ hard work, and learned more about the impact our students are having in the community.
Awards were given to projects from each class — the Social Impact Award and the Scientific Rigor Award.
Lizzie Davis and another student (name withheld upon request) won a Social Impact award for “Indian Child Welfare in North Carolina.”
