Professor Dennis Orthner and his research partners on the CareerStart project have developed a new guide that will be distributed to all the school districts in North Carolina. It will be sent out by the Superintendent of Schools in Winston-Salem, the host district for the School of Social work’s evaluation of the program.
CareerStart is an intervention program which helps middle school students connect what they are learning in school to future career opportunities, as a way to reach those most at-risk of failing. Read more about CareerStart
