Career Day provides an opportunity for MSW students, as well as undergraduate students from BSW programs, to discuss employment options with representatives from social services agencies throughout North Carolina. Over 50 agencies attended and spoke with students about current or future employment opportunities, and their work in the state.

A two-hour continuing education workshop, “Are We So Different? Ethical Action and the Scandal at Penn State,” presented by Dr. Kim Strom-Gottfried, was offered free of charge to recruiters and alumni.
