Substance Abuse Studies Certificates awarded at Carolina Inn luncheon

On May 3 at the Carolina Inn, the UNC School of Social Work honored students and practitioners who have completed the requirements for the Certificate Program in Substance Abuse Studies with a luncheon and awards ceremony. Graduates have earned their certificate by completing four Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) courses, completing a field placement in a substance abuse setting, and attending a training workshop on Ethical Issues in HIV Treatment.
