Gary Bowen, Ph.D. was the keynote speaker on Nov. 12, 2010 at “Meeting the Needs of Veterans & Military Families: A Summit for Health & Human Services Professionals,” at the University of Missouri School of Social Work. His talk was entitled, “Formal Systems and Informal Networks of Support.” He was invited by Dr. Marjorie Sable, director of the MU School of Social Work.

Paul Smokowski, Ph.D. was invited to speak at the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis on Jan. 20, 2011 on “Becoming Bicultural: Risk, Resilience and Latino Youth.”
