Matthew Bremer Slotkin, J.D., MSW ’94, and Ellen Sara Pizer, MSW, were married Aug. 6 in the chapel of Beth Meyer Synagogue in Raleigh.
Slotkin obtained an undergraduate degree in Political Science from UNC. He returned to complete a dual degree, obtaining his MSW and J.D. from the Schools of Social Work and Law at UNC. He is a practicing attorney based in Durham.
Pizer earned her MSW at Smith College in Northhampton, Mass., and practices as a psychotherapist in Durham.
The couple honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii and reside in Durham.
