UNC School of Social Work will host a memorial service for Maeda Galinsky on Sunday, Oct. 13, 1-3 p.m. in the School’s auditorium. A reception will follow the service. All friends and colleagues, past and present, are invited to join us.
Maeda inspired generations of social workers in North Carolina and beyond, serving on our faculty for 50 years before her death on Sept. 9, 2019. A scholarship fund has been established in the name of Maeda and her husband, David.
