Jack Richman, Ph.D., has been appointed as an academic board member of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Science at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST).
Wu Baijun, Ph.D., vice president of ECUST, presented Richman with the certificate of appointment during a ceremony at ECUST this month. Richman was one of several University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social Work faculty members who presented programs at ECUST as part of an ongoing educational partnership between the two universities.
Richman is the Johnson-Howard-Adair Distinguished Professor and serves as associate dean for global engagement and international programs at the UNC School of Social Work.
