John McMahon and Mellicent Blythe were quoted in an article in The Duke Endowment’s current newsletter, “Focusing on Quality Services for Children.”
Kim Strom-Gottfried moderated a Feb. 2 UNC panel discussion on “What We Need in the Next UNC President: A Faculty Conversation.” This event was an opportunity to continue the conversation initiated at the recent Faculty Council meeting regarding the impending departure of President Tom Ross and to envision the kind of leadership needed in the office of UNC system president moving forward.
Strom-Gottfried also presented a day-long session on Jan. 27 at Cherry Point NAS to staff from there and Camp Lejuene on “Ethics and Domestic Violence.”
