Deborah Barrett, Ph.D., will present, “A Dialectical Approach to Chronic Physical and Emotional Pain,” on Thurs., Nov. 13, from noon-2 p.m., as part of the JFS Clinical Connections series for mental health professionals hosted by Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish Federation. It will be held at the Levin Jewish Community Center, 1937 West Cornwallis Road, in Durham. On Wed., Dec. 10, she will speak on “Improving Life with Chronic Pain,” at the Department of Clinical Social Work at Duke University Hospital.
Mimi Chapman will present, “Images at work: How images can help us think and act differently,” on Monday, Oct. 27 from noon-1:30 p.m. in room 300 at the School of Social Work. This presentation is part of the School’s Tate Talks series. Everyone is welcome to attend.
