On April 2, 2013, The UNC School of Social Work Student Organization’s Social Justice Caucus hosted a panel event on upholding social justice from a community organizer perspective.
The panel members included Bob Wing, founding editor, ColorLines Magazine; Jenn Frye, associate director, Democracy North Carolina; Sendolo Diaminah, organizer, People’s Durham; Nia Wilson, executive director, SpiritHouse; and Emily Chavez, organizer, Panadería Bread Uprising.
