The School of Social Work will host its annual Career Day on Mon., April 8, in the Tate-Turner-Kuralt Building from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Career Day provides an opportunity for MSW students, as well as undergraduate students from BSW programs, to discuss employment options with representatives from social services agencies throughout North Carolina. There are expected to be over 50 agencies in attendance to speak with students about current or future employment opportunities, and their work in the state. Details for recruiters and students are available.
A two-hour continuing education workshop entitled “The Use and Abuse of Professional Privilege: Moving Toward Socially Just Practice” will be offered free of charge to recruiters.
