The School of Social Work will host its annual Career Day, Mon., April 2 in the Tate-Turner-Kuralt Building from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Career Day provides an opportunity for MSW students, as well as undergraduate students from BSW programs, to discuss employment options with representatives from social services agencies throughout North Carolina. There are expected to be over 50 agencies in attendance to speak with students about current or future employment opportunities, and their work in the state. Details for recruiters and students are available on the School’s website.
A two-hour continuing education workshop, “Are We So Different? Ethical Action and the Scandal at Penn State,” presented by Dr. Kim Strom-Gottfried, will be offered free of charge to recruiters and alumni.
