Gellerstedt wins $1,000 for paper

The Center for Clinical Social Work has awarded Liza Gellerstedt, MSW ’10, a $1,000 prize for the paper she submitted “demonstrating the author’s mastery of the essentials of clinical social work and readiness to enter professional practice.”

“Only five students around the country received this award, and (the Center) pointed out that the reviewers of these papers, from social work programs around the county, were blind to the name of the student and to the student’s program affiliation,” said School of Social Work faculty member Jean Livermore. “Thus, this award recognizes the excellence of her social work education as well as Liza’s individual achievement.”
