Joe Polich, MSW ’09, is currently attending UNC Law School. In April, he was awarded the Pro Bono 1L Student of the Year by the Pro Bono Board of UNC Law. Polich donated 110 hours of legal services this year through organizations such as the National Lawyer’s Guild, the UNC Center for Civil Rights, the Disability Law Organization, and the Spring Break Wills Project, where they drew up wills for low-income people in Eastern North Carolina.
