Roxboro
Freedom House Recovery Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinician (LPC, LPC-P, or preferably LCSW, LCSWA) for our Person Counseling Center in Roxboro.  The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in a Human Services field; be fully licensed in the State of North Carolina, and have two years of direct clinical experience in MH/SA populations.  Experience with Medicaid and State requirements is preferred.

As a licensed clinician, you should be enrolled with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH), NCTRACKS and the appropriate MCO (i.e. Cardinal Innovations or Alliance) before starting to work at FHRC.

The successful candidate must:  be able to provide both group and individual therapy and assessments to adults, (the successful candidate may be asked to conduct assessments on adolescents and children upon occasion);  have effective time management skills; be able to handle clinical crises and to make quick decisions regarding clinical dispositions;  be able to provide crisis intervention when necessary; have knowledge of community resources and advocacy services; have knowledge of the socio-cultural characteristics of the population being served; have the ability to understand and apply relevant laws, regulations, rules, standards, policies and procedures; and,  possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication and computer skills.


 
Community Support Team – Team Lead

Roxboro
Freedom House Recovery Center is seeking a full-time Community Support Team (CST) – Team Leader for our Roxboro area Community Support Team. The successful candidate must meet the NC Division of MHDDSAS requirements of the Community Support Service Definition as a QP, with a Master’s degree in a Human Services field; fully or provisionally licensed candidates in a human services discipline, preferred. At least 1 year of experience with the population served for CST services required. Experience with Medicaid and State requirements is preferred.

The successful candidate must have the knowledge, skills and abilities required to provide services to the population being served in the program.  Must have a completion of 3 hours service definition training, 12 hours person-centered thinking, 24 hours of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and 3 hours of Person-Centered Planning Instructional Elements. 13 hours of MI training by a MINT Trainer and 12 hours of Supervisory Level Training for Team Leaders and three hours of crisis response training is required.

Staff in these positions must be able to take and successfully complete trainings in North Carolina Interventions (NCI Parts A and B), CPR and First Aid. Computer experience is necessary to document in our electronic medical record system.  The applicant must be able to provide crisis intervention when necessary; have knowledge of community resources and advocacy services; have knowledge of the socio-cultural characteristics of the population being served; have the ability to understand and apply relevant laws, regulations, rules, standards, policies and procedures; must possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication and computer skills. Maintain a schedule approved by supervisor. Perform other related duties as assigned.


 
Child Therapist — Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor

Chapel Hill
Freedom House Recovery Center is seeking a full-time LCSW, LCSWA, LPC or LPCA for our Chapel Hill Outpatient Clinic. A state of NC fully licensed LCSW or LPC is preferred to work with children, adolescents and adults (parents/guardians). Two years of direct clinical experience in MH/SA is required. The candidate must be able to take and successfully complete trainings in North Carolina Interventions (NCI), CPR and First Aid.  For fully licensed candidates, an attestation form can be completed in lieu of taking the NCI training. The successful candidate must either be a current Medicaid provider or will sign up to become one through NC Tracks prior to employment in order to be able to bill for services.
