Healthcare Analyst Position - Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - DC Area


Position Summary:

Working under the direction of the Senior Director of Partnerships for Sustaining Daily Care will conduct literature reviews and environmental scans on a variety of adherence-related topics, collect and analyze stakeholder feedback, apply research survey methods, and produce relevant reports and other writings.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The healthcare analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information on a variety of topics related to adherence/sustaining daily CF treatments.

·        Conducts comprehensive literature reviews on a variety of adherence-related topics

·        Conducts environmental scanning of the healthcare landscape regarding adherence and other relevant topics

·        Produces relevant reports and other writings

·        Proposes strategy for dissemination of findings, which would include the provision of briefings internally to CFF staff, and when applicable, externally to outside stakeholders or agency partners

·        Generates a data collection strategy to maximize the efficient collection of data related to projects

·        Collects and analyzes data using a variety of qualitative and quantitative sources

·        Consults with others within and external to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation including patients, families, clinicians, CFF Communications, CFF Policy and Access, CFF Community Partnerships

·        Applies survey research methods in the creation of items for questionnaires and other programmatic work and as applicable, collects and analyzes results

·        Participates in the identification and planning of current and future adherence-related data and information needs

·        Monitors and analyzes stakeholder feedback from multiple sources

·        Maintains documentation of project timelines and milestone achievements

·        Creates and maintains project database

·        Manages logistics for and facilitates stakeholder video and audio conference calls, including but not limited to meeting minutes, agendas, and action planning

·        Serves as a liaison for production and distribution of materials, including but not limited to working with authors, consultants, formatters, graphic designers, printers


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·        Master’s degree (preferably in Public Health or social science field)

·        Minimum of 3 years of experience

·        Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills

·        Self- starter with ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

·        Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and proficient with data management and analysis software

·        Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities as needed


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities preferred:

·        Prior experience in a healthcare (or social science related) setting

·        Experience in health services research, especially related to adherence

·        Environmental scanning experience

·        Knowledge of survey research methodology and development of questionnaire items
