Interdisciplinary
contacts and exchange opportunities |
| |
|
Cutting
across traditional disciplinary lines, the Jordan Institute is a
conduit partnering scholars and researchers from complementary fields.
This interdisciplinary approach leads to rich and relevant research
and helps ensure that proposals are both distinctive and competitive.

Expert
input |
| |
|
The
Jordan Institute has a bevy of expert contacts able to review proposals
before submission. These experts give Investigators insightful and
useful feedback to strengthen their proposals and increase the likelihood
of funding. |

Statistical
consultation |
| |
|
In
addition to sponsoring a monthly methodology and research seminar-MARS--the
Jordan Institute has veteran statisticians to review and refine
the research designs, methods and analyses of proposals. Once a
proposal has been funded, the Jordan Institute provides on-going
guidance and technical assistance. |

Mock
reviews of proposals |
| |
|
Once
a proposal is initially completed, the Jordan Institute can engage
researchers to provide a mock review. These seasoned researchers
help identify strong points and potential pitfalls, enabling Investigators
to refine and strengthen their proposals before submission. |

Many
funding sources require in-kind or cash contributions before supporting
a grant. The Jordan Institute is able to prospect for and often
will deliver such support when needed. |
