Curriculum Development and Community Building in Romania

Through a Jordan Institute project funded by World Vision International, faculty from the Family and Children's Resource Program developed two multi-day, competency-based courses for Romanian child protection staff. In fall 2001 project staff traveled to Romania to train trainers on course content and delivery. Also, Nancy Dickinson, PI and director of the Jordan Institute, and Gary Nelson, director of the Resource Program, met with Romanian community leaders and presented a model for conducting community dialogues focused on child welfare.
