The Family
Advocacy Workshops are part of the new Family Partnership Initiative,
which offers opportunities for families to participate in university research
and education activities, learn about advocacy, and connect with other
families.
The workshops
benefit students by providing opportunities for them to learn directly
from families about their experiences with the service system.
Participants
at a Family Advocacy Workshop display their certificates. Pictured with
them are workshop leaders Barbara Leach and Jean Livermore, and Triangle
Community Foundation representative Frank Phoenix.
