In the Best Interest of the Child: Making the Most of Visitation

In the Best Interest of the Child: Making the Most of Visitation is a one-day, competency-based curriculum that explores parent-child visiting as a possible means of achieving timely and successful family reunification. It will also explore visitation-related factors that reduce length of stay, techniques for using visitation as therapeutic process, assessment and observation tools, and considerations when developing a visitation plan.

In the Best Interest of the Child: Making the Most of Visitation is currently offered free of charge to social workers from North Carolina departments of social services.
