Family-Centered Curriculum for Supervisors in Child Welfare

The Family-Centered Curriculum for Supervisors in Child Welfare is a three-day curriculum designed to help supervisors

  • Understand the primary roles and goals of a child welfare supervisor
  • Learn to identify and retain a team of qualified social workers, and
  • Articulate the value of family-centered products and services to key community stakeholders.

During this course, participants will have the opportunity to put together a short presentation describing their program to their community. The participants’ presentation will be videotaped and then constructive feedback will be offered by the instructor and other participants. Past participants have rated this exercise as the most helpful and effective exercise they have ever experienced in a training event.
