Child Welfare and Training Newsletters

In collaboration with the N.C. Division of Social Services, the Resource Program has developed several newsletters designed to enhance the work and learning of foster parents and child welfare social workers. Click on a link below to go to the online versions of these publications.




Fostering Perspectives,
published
twice a year, provides insightful articles, poetry, and information for and by foster and adoptive families. A special section "Kids's Pages" displays the talents of North Carolina's foster children.


Children's Services Practice Notes is designed to provide information on current research and discussion of issues for the child welfare workers in North Carolina. Published four times a year.


Training Matters provides information on the training offered by the N.C. Division of Social Services for North Carolina's child welfare professionals.
