The Family and Children's Resource Program at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Social Work exists to support those seeking to improve the lives of families and children. In pursuit of this goal we have collaborated with a variety of partners, including the U.S. Children's Bureau (USDHHS), N.C. Division of Social Services, public and private child welfare agencies, NC Governor's Crime Comission, The Duke Endowment, and others. Since 1993, we have helped North Carolina to:

• Develop and deliver training for child welfare professionals
• Build a web-based information system to support training
• Lead and evaluate permanency-focused system reform efforts
• Hold statewide children's services conferences
• Produce educational publications for social workers and foster parents
• Improve outcomes for children in foster care
