N.C. Division of Social Services' Annual Children's Services Conference

The N.C. Division of Social Services will hold its annual children's services conference on March 4-6, 2002 at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina.

Overview

This year's conference theme is "Everyday Heroes: Climbing to New Heights." This event, which we anticipate will be attended by more than 700 people, including 125 foster parents and parent leaders, is intended to:

  • Honor the achievements of professionals working with families and children in North Carolina,
  • Bring the child welfare and family preservation/family support systems in North Carolina together, and
  • Build the skills and knowledge of the professionals working with children and families in North Carolina.
