Pre-service Waiver Option Students

Social work students who join the Collaborative to complete the NC Division of Social Services mandatory pre-service training at their participating school are considered "waiver" students. These students do not receive Collaborative financial support, and once graduated, may or may not seek employment in child welfare. Graduating waiver students receive a Pre-service Completion Certificate.
