Graduate School Workshop

Which Way to Graduate School? (WWGS?) is a two-hour workshop geared toward those who want to further their social work education by entering a master’s degree program. Participants learn how to create a successful application and prepare for returning to the classroom. Specific topics include:
  • Applying for full- or part-time Master of Social Work programs
  • Developing a timeline and plan of action
  • Writing the personal narrative
  • Test-taking strategies
  • Financing graduate school
  • Information about the North Carolina Child Welfare Education Collaborative
Employees of other human services agencies and undergraduate social work students are invited to attend as space permits. For more information about WWGS? or to schedule a workshop for your agency, please contact the Collaborative at NCCWEC@email.unc.edu.

Note: Due to budgetary considerations, at least 10 participants are required in order for the Collaborative to host a "Which Way to Graduate School?" workshop.
