Employment
Hundreds of Collaborative graduates are working on behalf of North Carolina's children and families in child protective intake, in-home and assessment services, foster care and adoption. Our graduates are motivated, experienced and have the training and abilities to excel in these positions.Presently we have over 75 students each year graduating in public child welfare. Some are hired by the same agency where they completed their field placements, while others take new positions in urban and rural counties across our state, and some return to their employing agency.
It is our goal to have a Collaborative graduate working in every county. Additional funding would add more Child Welfare Scholars annually, meaning more graduates would enter the North Carolina social services workforce every year.
If you would like to hire a graduate, please e-mail your North Carolina child welfare job openings to childwelfarejobs@listserv.unc.edu .
