Agencies

In response to the staffing crisis in North Carolina social services, the Collaborative aims to increase the number of specially trained social workers in our public child welfare system. Collaborative graduates meet the state’s mandatory child welfare pre-service training requirements and hundreds of Collaborative students have worked with agencies through field internships and employment.

Field instructors are valuable teaching partners in the Collaborative. Through quality field education, students learn first hand how to become leading child welfare professionals. Agencies who invest in Collaborative interns are able to observe and train them for employment, directly influencing tomorrow’s workforce. Students benefit from meaningful, challenging assignments that enrich their classroom experiences.

If you have a passion for child welfare, a desire to share your expertise and work in an agency willing to foster a student’s development, we invite you to join the hundreds of field instructors who have already helped the Collaborative. Contact us.
