To properly reflect MRS changes, both Recurrence of maltreatment and Maltreatment in foster care were modified to includes services needed as maltrement. That is type found codes of (1,2,3,4,5) are all considered maltreatment. Previously, only codes (1,2,3) were considered as maltreatment.

Round 1 CFSR measures by Age :
This website provides information about each of the Round 1 CFSR measures by
different categories such as race, ethnicity, age, and gender. Race,
ethnicity, and gender are permanent personal traits. However, age
depends on the birthday as well as what date is used for the age
calculation.
The most appropriate date used for age calculation for each
measure is as follows.
Recurrence of maltreatment : Age on the report investigation
completion date of the first report of abuse and/or neglect
Maltreatment in foster care : Youngest age the child was in foster
care during the 12 month reporting period. That is if the child
entered foster care during the reporting period, age when the child
entered foster care, or if the child entered foster care before the
reporting period, age at the beginning of the reporting period.
Reunification within 12 months : Age on date of reunification
(Date of termination from placement authority for termination reason
of reunification)
Foster care reentries within 12 months : Age on the date the child
entered foster care during the reporting period (placement begin
date of the first valid placement type)
Adoption within 24 months : Age on date of adoption
(Date of termination from placement authority for termination reason
of adoption)
Placement stability : Age on the date the child
entered foster care during the reporting period (placement begin
date of the first valid placement type)
Children age 12 and younger in group homes : Youngest age the
child was in foster
care during the 12 month reporting period. That is if the child
entered foster care during the reporting period, age when the child
entered foster care, or if the child entered foster care before the
reporting period, age at the beginning of the reporting period.
