Sharon Holmes Thomas, MSW ’98, and husband Montez have welcomed their first child. Samuel Henry Thomas was born Sept. 2 at 1:52 p.m. at Durham Regional Hospital, weighed 7 lbs 4.7 oz. and was 20 ½ inches long.
She is the UNC School of Social Work’s director of recruitment, admissions and financial aid.
