Lovelace publishes self-help books on stopping smoking, stress

Since retiring from independent clinical social work practice, R. Terry Lovelace, MSW ’67, has published a digital book, “Simple-7 Solution to Stop Smoking.” It is available online as a free download. The book is the culmination of 40 years of helping adults stop smoking — about 20% of his practice.

Another book, Stress Master, is also available for free online. Published 20 years ago, Lovelace’s former School of Social Work professor and longtime friend, the late Phil Cooke, wrote an endorsement for the back cover. Lovelace is currently posting a condensed and updated version of Stress Master online as a free audio book.

Lovelace resides in Winston-Salem with his wife Judy and their dog Rosie.
