Alcohol, Buprenorphine, Cannabis, and other ABCs of substance use disorder treatment w/ Dr. Orrin Ware

April 15 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

$35.00

In this workshop, Dr. Orrin Ware challenges participants to contextualize the current pathology of substance use disorders through a much wider lens. He then zeroes in on approaches and resources to work therapeutically with people whose substance use disorders are impacting their functioning. He will introduce assessment tools and evidence-based practices (harm reduction, motivational interviewing, medication-assisted treatment) and offer ways to tailor treatment plans based on specific needs and circumstances of an individual.
