Michell Tollinchi-Michel, MSW ’98, has been appointed assistant vice president for student transitions in the Division of Student Life at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Tollinchi-Michel is the former associate dean for academic enrichment and community initiatives at Barnard College, Columbia University, in New York. In her 10-year career at Barnard, Tollinchi-Michel has held leadership positions in student life administration that encompassed co-curricular and academic support programs.
Kathleen P. Landers, MSW ’94, is a psychotherapist and the founder and executive director of Sequence Counseling and Consulting Services, a multi-disciplinary private practice in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area.
Melinda Manning, MSW ’15, director of UNC Hospitals’ Beacon Program, published an article in the American Medical Association’s Journal of Ethics. The article was titled, “What if a Resident or Medical Student is Raped? Hospitals’ and Academic Medical Centers’ Title IX Obligations.”
