Retired Assistant Professor Dan Hudgins discussed the lack of affordable housing options in Durham in the op-ed column, “In Durham, seeking a home in their own hometown, published in the Raleigh News & Observer.

The UNC School of Social Work was mentioned in an article about the N.C. Center for Safer Schools first ever Crisis Intervention Team-Youth training for law enforcement. The School assisted with the training.

Professor Kim Strom-Gottfried was featured in the Raleigh News & Observer’s article, “In wake of scandal, UNC hires director to oversee ethics,” and in the Daily Tar Heel, which mentioned her new university leadership role in a roundup article on a recent meeting of the University’s Board of Trustees.
