MSW program receives top 10 ranking by US News & World Report

The UNC School of Social Work’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program has been named one of the top 10 social work programs in the country, in the latest rankings by U.S. News & World Report for the 2017 edition of “America’s Best Graduate Schools.”

The School continues its longtime standing in the top 10. This year it is tied for 7th, making it the 4th best public school of social work in the country.

“Continuing to be top ranked among excellent schools is a testament to the quality and work of our talented faculty, staff and students,” said Dean Jack Richman. “For over 95 years, they have helped shape the field of social work through teaching, research and service. Their dedication, and that of our many friends and supporters, is the reason why we remain one of the best schools in the country.”

The School of Social Work joins a number of other UNC-Chapel Hill programs in being highly ranked this year.
