Abstracts for papers and posters sought for 2015 Group Work Conference

The International Association for Social Work with Groups (IASWG) will hold its next annual symposium at the UNC School of Social Work, June 4-7, 2015. IASWG is the premier international association for social workers and allied helping professionals engaged in group work.

Proposals are currently being accepted for papers, workshops and poster presentations on all aspects of group work. Topics that relate to diversity, oppression, and widening the circle to create a space for all voices are especially welcomed. Students, faculty, agency administrators, practitioners of various disciplines, community workers, and developers who work with groups are invited to submit.

The deadline for submission of paper and workshop proposals is Feb. 15, 2015. The deadline for poster presentation proposals is March 15.

If you have questions or would like to join the N.C. Chapter of IASWG, contact Anne Jones at annejone@email.unc.edu, or Marilyn Ghezzi at mghezzi@email.unc.edu.

This event is co-sponsored by the UNC School of Social Work and the North Carolina State University Department of Social Work.
