FCRP creates motion graphics video to describe their program

The Family and Children’s Resource Program (FCRP) at the UNC School of Social Work partners with others to create high-quality, transformational learning experiences that build capacity of individuals, agencies, and communities to achieve safety, permanency, and well-being for children and families.

Recently, they created a video to describe the program. The original artwork for this video was captured as part of a “graphic facilitation” exercise in which FCRP faculty and staff gathered and talked about the history of the organization.

Highlights include:

  • FCRP’s birth in 1992
  • Their commitment to family-centered and evidence-based practice
  • Successful development of North Carolina’s child welfare Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Creation and delivery of numerous classroom and online trainings and webinars
  • Nationally recognized publications such as “Children’s Services Practice Notes” and “Fostering Perspectives”
  • Technical assistance to promote positive, outcome-focused agency culture
  • Fruitful partnerships with professionals and agencies in Romania as well as in North Carolina, Wisconsin, and many other states

The video was produced in-house, with graphic facilitation by Tiffany Price, narration by MSW student Alice Drozdiak, and motion graphics created by Matt Tarpley.
