Concert fundraiser April 27 for the Teresa Ilinitch Scholarship Fund

UNC School of Social Work clinical instructor and field adviser Teresa Ilinitch died unexpectedly on Feb. 3, 2014, at her home in Pittsboro, N.C.

In memory of Teresa, her family is establishing the Teresa Ilinitch Scholarship Fund at the UNC School of Social Work. So far, the School and family have raised $12,500 in gifts and pledges toward the goal of $25,000.

To benefit the scholarship fund, there will be a concert fundraiser on Sunday, April 27, 2014, featuring the NC Revelers Orchestra. Teresa’s husband, Ron, is a member of this band.

It will be held from 3-5:30 p.m. at The Barn at Fearrington Village, Pittsboro. Swing dance lessons with the Carolina Swing Dance Club will be from 3-3:30, and the orchestra concert will begin at 3:30. A cash bar is planned.

Cash or checks will be accepted at the door. For the general public, a minimum donation of $25 is requested; $10 for UNC students. You can also make a gift online by credit card in advance.
