Students’ work featured in UNC photography exhibit

UNC’s FedEx Global Education Center, located next door to the School of Social Work, invites everyone to stop by and view the 2013 Carolina Global Photography Competition exhibit that opened on Jan. 9 and runs through March 8, in the lobby.

View amateur photography from around the world in this exhibition featuring works by UNC students, faculty, staff and alumni. All photography on display was submitted as part of the 13th annual Carolina Global Photography Competition last fall. Special consideration was given to images that are distinctive, defy expectations, embrace a new perspective, showcase the commonality of humanity, or illustrate potential solutions to global challenges.

Several UNC School of Social Work graduate students are exhibited: Christopher Wretman, Julia Wessel, Albert Thrower, Natasha Holt and Sandra Forrester.
