In the media: Barrett, Fraser, Grinstein-Weiss, Richman, Testa

Debbie Barrett was interviewed on a show on Sirius XM 81 Doctor Radio, on Monday, March 12 from 7:30-8:00 a.m. The topic was rehabilitation medicine and she discussed her book, “PainTracking.”

Mark Fraser and his team are featured in a Prevention Action article, “Don’t despair — investigate.” Prevention Action is a online news site based in England, that publishes a new story on prevention and implementation science every day.

Michal Grinstein-Weiss is featured on NASW’s website in the Social Work Month 2012 Toolkit for Poverty Reduction.

Dean Jack Richman and doctoral student Erica Richman are featured in an article, “Families share love of social work,” in the March 2012 edition of NASW News.

Jack Richman is quoted in a March 14 Daily Tar Heel article, “UNC’s grad schools see new rankings in U.S. News and World Report.”

Mark Testa and Jack Richman‘s Wicked Problems Institute was featured on Physorg.com, Reesenews.org, 1360 WCHL Radio, UNC News, and News Medical.net.

The School is also mentioned in a Feb. 16 Carrboro Citizen story, “A mental health model that works.”
